Telford police officer charged with two counts of rape
A West Mercia Police officer based in Shropshire has been charged with two counts of rape.

Pc Vinod Kumar Dahiya, aged 44, from Telford was charged with the rape of a woman on two occasions earlier this year – between May 14-17 and June 1-6.
He is also charged with assaulting the woman by beating on May 15.
The constable, who is currently suspended, has been given police bail with conditions, to appear before Telford magistrates on November 13.
A statement from West Mercia Police said that the alleged offences did not take place while he was on duty.
